FRENCH KETAMINE
French Ketamine are a rock band from Galway, Ireland. With a distinctive garage rock sound and quirky live shows they've played gigs all around Galway and as far as the legendary Whelans in Dublin. Formed in 2017 they released their first self titled EP in May 2019. Known for their energetic live shows and fun catchy songs they look to reach out to more people this year and with their first slot on the Sea Sessions Main stage this summer the future looks very bright.
MEMBERS
Seán Donnelly
The singer and rhythm guitarist. Founded the band and came up with the name (which he now regrets). Also writes the amazing lyrics such as "Day after day, we stay for another day" (he also regrets writing those shit lyrics).
Evan Costelloe
Lead guitarist, writes all foreign language songs and due to his sick shredding skills on the guitar, has more of an entitlement to the name Shredder than the bad guy in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles®.
Liam Donnelly
The drummer of the band due to being lazy and wanting to sit down during shows because apparently standing up for 20 minutes or more is a chore for him. Replaced the previous drummer who was shit and no craic.
Darren Coppinger
The bassist of the band and also the lead dancer who gets the crowd bopping. Despite not being an original member, french ketamine runs through his veins (not literally cause that would cause him to be dead).
